The Patriot Day Rally is an opportunity to celebrate America. This is not a political rally or a tea party. Those events certainly have their place, but the Patriot Day Rally is not about left vs. right, upcoming elections, or current events.
Celebrating Freedom and Those Who Defend It
We all cherish freedom and freedom is under attack - militarily and philisophically, on the battlefield and in the classroom. Freedom should be celebrated! Those who defend freedom should be recognized and honored.
Inspiring Patriotism
What happened to being a proud, flag-waving American? A sense of awe and gratefulness still run deep in the heart of any true American when they think of how unique this country is, and how blessed we are to live here. Our children should be inspired to take a stand for this great country, and the principles on which it was built.
Educating About American History
America has a history that many are rewriting. Through books, worksheets, and quotes from our forefathers, we can still teach modern Americans how rich, wonderful, and full of faith our history actually was. We cannot afford to lose our unique history to revisionists and multi-culturalists.
Celebrating One Nation Under God
“America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify that devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scripture.” President Woodrow Wilson
Our American history cannot be separated from our faith in God. From the pilgrims, to the founders, to the National Monuments and our National motto, our faith has been woven into every aspect of our culture. This should not be denied, but recognized and celebrated. Let us openly say “God bless America”!
So What is the Patriot Day Rally?
In short, the Patriot Day Rally is fireworks with meaning. It is a time for Americans of all ages to come together, to enjoy the freedom to assemble, to eat and play, to honor those who defend our freedom, to learn, to wave a flag, and to publicly thank God that we are Americans!
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
-John Adams
"And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure if we have lost the only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God?"
-Thomas Jefferson
